fumalife joined the PRIME Step UGM STP 2023

The CEO of fumalife, Hanif Khoirudin, M.Sc., attended the Promoting Research and Innovation through Modern and Efficient Science and Technology Parks Project (PRIME STeP) UGM STP at the University Club (UC) Hotel UGM on Friday, 17 February 2023. This program is a collaboration between UGM, Kemenristekdikti, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to provide support and facilitate research and innovation results in the form of grants or funding through the 2023 Innovation Grant and Tenant Grant. Besides aiming to introduce the PRIME STeP program, this activity is also a discussion forum between investors, researchers, and startups to create an innovation ecosystem and accelerate the downstream of research and innovation results, especially at UGM. This forum was led directly by the Director of the Directorate of Business Development and Incubation (DITPUI) UGM, together with the ADB Mission Team. The event was also attended by representatives of several other UGM startups, including Bantu Ternak and Accessive.id, Stechoq, and Carbon Nanotech.
In today’s modern era, research and innovation results should continue beyond the campus environment. Therefore, it is necessary to build a new awareness regarding the importance of adopting and disseminating campus-based research and innovation results among lecturers, researchers, industrial partners, and the community to accelerate the process of downstream innovation. Through this program, it is hoped that future research and innovation results can become products that can solve industrial problems and benefit society.
